The electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry is witnessing impressive growth because of the strong demand from both domestic and international markets. Continuous effort from industry stakeholders and policy makers to create a conducive ecosystem has substantially enhanced the prospects of Indian electronics manufacturers and distributors matching international standards. This segment is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.3 per cent from 2013 to 2018 to reach a market size of US$ 7.92 billion by 2018. In the light of such an impressive forecast, Electronics Bazaar attempted to identify the key players in the EMS industry.
